AT DVIS - EPU - Extended Processing Unit

If more radios are required in addition to the 3 units that can connect to the CMU, the Extended Processing Unit (EPU) would offer the most convenient expansion option. Each EPU consists of 2 GAIO interfaces that can each connect to a radio. The half-duplex radios will then become part of the ring network and operate independently or may be set up to function in repeater mode, as can be with other radios in the vehicle.
